Style crush: Margherita Missoni

Margherita Missoni is known as being a muse and the heir to her family's fashion house: Missoni. She has appeared in many of Missoni's fashion add campaigns as a model. She is of course always spotted wearing her own family brand but i love that about her! I love her luxe-hippie style, making her always look so effortlessly cool.

On another note i would briefly like to talk about the Spring/Summer 2010 campaign of Missoni by Juergen Teller. Love love love the idea of this shoot, it is clever and refreshing because it captures the Missoni family as they really are. The backdrop of this shoot consists of the house with its colorful rugs, walls, covered in paintings and photographs, big smiles, silly poses, and hugs between family members. The campaign features extended family members as well as friends of the fashion house!

Talk about a beautiful family!

Glastonbury 2011

Glastonbury is a arts festival in the the UK (Southwest England, in the county of Somerset) known for its music, theater, dance, comedy... It was heavily influenced by the hippie ethics and the free festival movement of the 70's... Anyways something to always look out to in these kinds of festivals are the fabulous street styles. This years festival (which runs during the last week of June) took off with rainy weather which introduced 2 prominent trends: The green parka and the wellies paired with mini shorts.
